Who are they?
Michelle is a coach and swimmer, and disability advocate who has supported a number of swimmers to the Paralympics. She has also represented 3 different countries internationals.
Looking back at the swim
The 1600 IM was Hideous because it has been 15 years since I last swam a straight off 200 fly never mind a 400 and then a 400 breaststroke which is the stroke I hate the most! Never thought I could finish it but when I did, I felt very proud. I’m looking forward to the 2000 IM next year.
The 1600 IM was part of the Hideous Swims “Birthday Swim Series”, which is open to everyone.
